Custom Chrome Steel Grille Shell is stamped from new tooling using OE-quality steel for strength and durability. The combination of new tooling and three layers of nickel gives this grille shell an exceptionally smooth surface before final chrome plating. After stamping, the raw steel grille is buffed and polished to achieve a smooth, defect-free plating surface. A semi-bright nickel is first applied, followed by a strike nickel, bright nickel and then chromed. All of these steps give the Custom Chrome Steel Grille Shell a high-quality, mirror-like finish. Comes with a 5 Year Limited Warranty on defects in material and workmanship. The Wire Mesh Insert is made up of a woven 3MM body diameter wire insert that is welded to a 6MM diameter round stock framework along the perimeter for strength and durability. The insert is securely and discreetly attached to the outer shell with no visible mounting components for a clean custom look. A high-quality chrome-plated finish completes the distinctive look of the Wire Mesh Insert.
