| Sliding Rear Windows are self-latching for safety and security. The rocker design enables you single hand operation to open or close the window and still keep one hand on the wheel. Premium pile weatherstripping keeps the elements out and provides you smooth sliding operation. The contoured frame is designed for a secure fit and won't obstruct your rear view. The glass is 1,000 degree heat tempered and meets D.O.T. and S.A.E. specifications. Available in clear or dark gray tinted windows. Installation for your new Sliding Rear Window is as simple as it sounds! Many people that have installed a Sliding Rear Window in the past can do this procedure in less than 30 minutes. A tool that makes the job easier is the Windshield Stick. It can be used to install or remove windows or window rubber. While you are installing your new window, it would be a great time to replace your cab to rear window seal. The rear window on 1986-97 Ranger Super Cab models and all 1998-05 models are attached with urethane adhesive. Professional installation is required.
