Power Disc Brake Conversion Kit … No More Front Drums
Power Disc Brake Conversion Kit contains parts needed to convert from front drum brakes while reusing existing spindles and brake pedal. 15-inch or larger wheels must be used with kit.
Brake booster mounts to stock master cylinder location and uses original brake pedal. Boosters require a minimum of 16" of vacuum and will not work with radical cams or blowers with insufficient vacuum. Measure your vacuum before ordering.
Trucks with original manual transmission will require #45-3583 Clutch Linkage Kit to retain the factory clutch pedal when converting to power disc brakes. Requires fabrication of new front brake lines.
Upper king pin grease fitting may need to be moved for clearance of the brake caliper brackets.
Kit includes power brake booster; disc brake master cylinder and combination valve; brake rotors; brake calipers and semi-metallic pads; brake caliper brackets; brake hoses; wheel bearings and seals; inner bearing adaptors; and mounting hardware.
