Disc Brake Kit … No More Front Drums

Product Details

Disc Brake Kit contains parts needed to convert from front drum brakes while reusing existing hubs, spindles and brake pedal. 1947-50 models may need to drill out the lower spindle hole to 1/2" to accept the brake caliper brackets. A new brake master cylinder #37-8553 for 1947-55 1st Series trucks or #37-8554 for 1955-59 2nd Series trucks is needed, see below.
Requires fabrication of new front brake lines. Roller Bearing Conversion Kit #37-8557, see below, is recommended for use with Disc Brake Kit.
Requires use of 15-inch or larger diameter wheels originally designed for use with disc brakes.
Kit includes 12" brake rotors; brake calipers and semi-metallic pads; brake caliper brackets; brake hoses; wheel spacers and hardware.
