Voltage Reducers
#36-3608 Ceramic Voltage Reducer: Provides solution for a 6 volt heater (etc.) that must be used with a 12 volt vehicle electrical system. Not intended for use with electrical gauges; 4 amps maximum current. More than one may be used in parallel to increase load capacity.
#36-3640 Electronic Voltage Reducer: Enables reuse of original 6 volt fuel, oil and temperature gauges when converting a truck to a 12 volt negative ground system. Connect one reducer to each gauge and the EVR will stabilize output at 6 volts while eliminating gauge fluctuation.
Note: Do not use on amp gauge. Most amp gauges will work on 12 volts with no changes required. An electronic voltage reducer will have to be purchased for each 6 volt gauge.
