Disc Brake Master and Booster Kits
#37-8558 Disc Brake Master and Booster Kit is designed for 1960-62 trucks with hydraulic clutches. The kit includes a clutch master cylinder that allows you to retain your original hydraulic clutch system. The special mounting bracket in the kit allows the clutch master cylinder to be mounted behind the brake booster.
#37-8589 Disc Brake Master and Booster Kit is designed for 1960-66 trucks without hydraulic clutches.
Both kits include a combination valve for front disc/rear drum brakes to assure proper front-to-rear brake pressure for safe and efficient operation.
Boosters require a minimum of 16" of vacuum and will not work on trucks that have radical cams or blowers with low engine vacuum. Measure your vacuum before ordering. Use with Spindle and Disc Brake Kits when converting your truck to front disc brakes, see below. Requires fabrication of new front brake lines.
