The Adjustable LS Engine Mount Plate Set and the Hedman LS Swap Headers are designed to work together to eliminate a lot of the guesswork of component selection when installing a Chevy LS1/LS6 or Vortec 4.8/5.3/6.0L V8 into a 2WD truck.

The Adjustable LS Engine Mount Plate Set allows installation of an LS series engine into a truck originally equipped with a small block Chevrolet V8. The engine mount plates are slotted to allow for 1-7/8" of adjustment in mounting position to provide for better weight distribution, additional clearance for engine driven accessories (allows for low mounted A/C compressor) and oil pan to crossmember clearance. Engine Mount Plates accept small block Chevrolet engine mounts, sold separately.
