How to ID a DANA-SPICER Axle
All SPICER axles are identified with a manufacturing date and Bill of Material Number stamped on the right or left hand tube. The axle model number will be cast into one of the webs as shown or it can be on the nose.
The Bill of Material Number will always contain six digits followed by a dash number. Bill of Material Numbers are listed where necessary for axle identification. When a Bill of Material Number is listed, it means the item will only fit axles stamped with that Bill of Material Number, e.g. 610320-1.
