Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit converts front drums to 11-5/8" diameter rotors. It includes new spindles, new single piston calipers, brake pads and stainless steel braided brake hoses. Front disc brakes improve your truck's braking ability while providing reliability and all-weather performance.
Front Disc Brake Conversion Kit fits 1966-75 Bronco models with DANA 30 or DANA 44 front axles and will work with 15" or larger wheels. Factory OE locking hubs will not work with this kit. See page 64 for your choice of Mile Marker or WARN locking hubs.
A new brake master cylinder will be needed. Use #45-3587-F for manual brakes. Kit requires the use of #40-5420 Combination Valve, #40-3640 Bracket and #36-3778-F Socket; sold below. Some modification is required to the existing steering knuckles to allow clearance for disc brake components. Fabrication of new front brake lines is required. Detailed instructions are included.
