Chevrolet and GMC Pickup Molded Carpet Fits 1/2 Ton 3/4 Ton 1 Ton
Molded carpet covers the floor from the firewall to the back of the cab. Trimming will be necessary on trucks with an in-cab gas tank.
Loop pile carpet is molded from the original floor pan for a perfect fit that covers the entire floor. It's made from 100% nylon with an OE type heel pad. The heavy 36 ounce jute padding under the front passenger area helps insulate against heat and reduces road noise.
Color coordinated original style heel pad is attached and an easy-to-install dimmer switch grommet is also included. The color coordinated vinyl binding helps prevent fraying and adds the finishing touch.
Shiftrod and Steering Column Holes are Not Pre-cut
IMPORTANT: Before choosing a floor covering, check the floor pan configuration of your vehicle. Was your vehicle originally equipped with an Automatic (Low Hump) or Manual (High Hump) transmission? Selecting the correct floor pan configuration is an important part of ensuring that your floor covering fits properly.
1967-72 Carpet Kits are often defined as "Low Hump" or "High Hump" or "Small Transmission, Large Transmission." This refers to the size of the Transmission tunnel hump in the floor of the cab. Models originally equipped with 4 wheel drive or floor shift have a larger hump than 2 wheel drive, column shift models. The illustration to the right is a guide to help you verify the type of floor your truck is equipped with.
Most high hump tunnel covers are bolted to the floor.
