1973-79 All New Quick Ratio Power Steering Gear

Product Details

The 500 series power steering gearbox is manufactured using all new components and features a 14:1 sport ratio to provide superior directional control, steering response and road feedback. A nice performance upgrade from the stock 800 series power steering box, it requires only 3-1/4 turns lock-to-lock vs. 4-1/2 turns for the stock gearbox. Bolt-on installation works with the stock pitman arm and power steering hoses. Requires use of steering coupler #34-0743, sold separately, see below.
