Reproduction Tailgates are produced from new tooling with 18-gauge OE quality steel, as original, for strength and durability. The sturdy tailgate base outperforms current collision-damage tailgates. Professional EDP (Electro Deposit Primer) coating offers a smooth surface. GM Official Licensed Product is purchased from an authorized GM Licensee.
For 1976 there are two types of designs used to attach the link and latch assemblies to the tailgate. Check your tailgate before ordering to ensure you order the correct part.
1st Design: Uses a BOLT to attach the link to the tailgate.
2nd Design: Uses a STUD to attach the link to the tailgate.
-T after a part number means that part must be shipped Truck Freight. The prepaid order will include a $150.00 charge for delivery in the 48 contiguous United States. Orders outside of the 48 states will be quoted. Additional delivery time required.
