A Steering Stabilizer Kit is basically a horizontal shock absorber that helps to stabilize the steering system. The kit not only helps to stabilize the steering, but can also help in the prevention of "Bump Steer", when the steering wheel jerks suddenly as a result of hitting a pothole or object in your path.
