Two-wheel drive low range benefits from bind-free steering AND high rear axle torque. This feature is not available with factory systems and is beneficial when maneuvering trailers. Reduces front differential wear and right axle breakage.
The factory system uses a TLA (Thermal Linear Actuator) to engage the front axle, which is a heat-activated plunger that is prone to failure and takes longer to engage when cold outside. Differential Lock Kit replaces the TLA with a cable-operated system, guaranteeing four-wheel drive engagement every time. A one-inch pull of the Differential Lock Kit cable ensures having four-wheel drive when needed.
Differential Lock Kit is compatible with manually (lever) or electrically (push button) engaged transfer cases. Easily installed in one to two hours with basic hand tools. No internal axle or differential work required.
