Shortbed trucks were equipped with 25 gallon tanks; longbed trucks were equipped with either a 25 gallon or 34 gallon tank. Measure your gas tank to determine which gas tank you need.

How to Identify Your 1996-98 Gas Tank Sending Unit
1996-98 models have a label attached to the wiring harness on the sending unit. The label has three letters printed on it that are referred to as the ID Code. Please order by matching the letters on your gas tank sending unit with the correct part number.
