Speedometer Cable Note: Due to the number of different speedometer cables Ford used, it is necessary for you to measure your cable to select the correct replacement. If the replacement cable is longer, take a less direct route to your connections, keeping the cable away from hot exhaust and moving parts. Do not kink the cable during installation. Be sure to compare the end lower fittings of the cable you are replacing with the ones shown.
