HEI-Style Distributor

Product Details

Installing an HEI distributor will provide a stronger, more consistent spark, which improves combustion, enables wider spark plug gaps for better performance, and eliminates the need for maintenance associated with points-type ignition systems. With the ignition coil built into the distributor cap, installation is a breeze and helps to reduce under-hood clutter.

Since HEI distributors are physically larger than stock Ford distributors, careful clearance checks are required, particularly around air cleaners.
